Ingredients

  • 500 g extra-firm tofu, drained and shredded

  • ½ inch ginger, minced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp water

  • Salt and sugar to taste

Directions

  • Drain and shred extra-firm tofu, pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Sauté minced ginger and garlic in a pan till fragrant and add shredded tofu.
  • Season with soy sauce, sesame oil, dark soy sauce, salt and sugar to taste.
  • Use as filling for sandwiches, tacos or even with rice.
