110gwarm water
100gMilk
7gInstant dry yeast
35gSugar
Ingredients B
7gSalt
350gBread Flour
20gButter
20gSalted butter (5gx10)
Coffee Topping
60gbutter
60gsugar
70gall purpose flour
1egg
3tspinstant coffee powder + 2tsp water
Directions
Mix ingredients A together and set aside for 5mins.
Mix ingredients A with ingredients B together until you get a soft dough.
Add in unsalted butter bit by bit.
Knead until dough is elastic.Leave to rise covered with a damp cloth for 45 mins. Punch down and divide into 10 pieces. Stuff each piece with a cube of salted butter and roll into a ball. Leave to rise for another 30 mins.
For the coffee topping, cream butter and sugar. Add in eggs and coffee mixture. Add in sifted flour and mix till you get a smooth mixture.
Pipe coffee mixture onto risen dough and bake in preheated oven at 175C for 13-15mins.
