Ingredients

  • Ingredients A
  • 140 g potato starch

  • 20 g low protein flour

  • 20 g milk powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • Ingredients B
  • 40 g icing sugar

  • 65 g egg

  • Other
  • 2 tsp canola oil

Directions

  • Sift Ingredients A together.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk ingredients B together till the icing sugar is diluted.
  • Add in ingredients A to ingredients B. mix well. Add in canola oil and mix till you get a soft dough.
  • Cover with a damp cloth. Take small batches and form into mini balls. Place on a lined baking tray.
  • Spray with some water before baking in a preheated oven at 170°C for 10-15 mins. Rotate the tray in the middle of the baking time to ensure even colouring.
  • (You may want to bake for another 8-10 mins for that extra crunch!)
