Ingredients

  • 1 Bitter Gourd

  • 2 pcs Banana

  • Some wolfberries

  • Creamy soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 cup soy milk

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp wolfberries

  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  • Cut both tips of the bitter gourd off and cut horizontally into two. Push the seeds (and white part) out using chopsticks.
  • Boil bitter gourd in hot water until tender.
  • Stuff with bananas and slice horizontally. (Approx. 1 inch thick)
  • Heat all ingredients of the creamy soy sauce till it thickens. Pour over bitter gourd and banana. Sprinkle with wolfberries.
