Ingredients

  • Ingredients A
  • 120 g all purpose flour

  • 30 g corn flour

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ baking soda

  • 65 g icing sugar

  • 38 g ground almond

  • 105 g plant based butter, room temperature

  • Whole almond with skin, for garnish

Directions

  • Sift all ingredients A together.
  • In a mixer, using the paddle attachment, cream butter.
  • Add in sifted ingredients and mix well until a soft dough is formed.
  • Form small balls (approx. 8g). Place on a lined baking tray and press down with a fork.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160 C for 15-18 mins.
