Lo Mai Gai (Steamed Glutinous Rice with Chicken) 0 from 0 votes Course: MainCuisine: AsianDifficulty: Easy Servings4servingsPrep time45minutesCooking time30minutes Ingredients Ingredients A100 g ground chicken thighs300 g fish paste1/2 tbsp fish sauce1/2 Tbsp corn starch1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp sugar Vegetables of Choice ( bitter gourd, okra, chilli, brinjals, firm tofu/ tofu puffs)Ingredients B1 tsp cooking oil1 tsp minced garlic1 cup water1 Tbsp ground soy bean sauce2 Tbsp oyster sauce1 Tbsp sugar or more to taste2 tsp cornstarch + 3 tsp water Directions Mix all filling ingredients A together and let sit aside for 30 mins. Meanwhile slit vegetables as shown in the video.Stuff vegetables with filling. Fry in hot oil till filling is cooked through.For the sauce, sauter garlic with cooking oil.
