Ingredients
Wontons:
1packetsquare wonton wrappers (about 40 sheets)
150gground chicken thighs
150gpeeled and deveined shrimp
1tablespoonegg white
1teaspoongrated ginger
2teaspoonssoy sauce
1/2tablespoonoyster sauce
1/2teaspoonchicken bouillon powder
1teaspoonsesame oil
1/4teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonsugar
1/8teaspoonground white pepper
For soup
3cupschicken broth
3scallion roots
2garlic cloves , smashed
1cm piece of ginger , sliced
1 1/2tbsp tbsp light soy sauce
2tspsugar
1/4– 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Directions
For wantons, In a food processor, blitz all wanton ingredients except for prawns and wrappers. Fold in roughly chopped prawns. Place a teaspoon of the chicken mixture in the middle of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water. Seal the edges to form a triangle shape.
Bring broth ingredients to a boil and season to taste. Boil wantons in the broth till they float.
