Ingredients Choice of noodles, blanched1 block (230 g) tempeh4 dried shiitake mushrooms1.5 cups hot water (for soaking mushrooms)2 tsp gouchujang3 cloves garlic, minced1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced1 shallot, finely minced2 dried chilies, deseeded & minced1 whole star-anise (optional)4 tablespoons light soy sauce2 tablespoons dark soy sauce2 tablespoons vegetable stock2 tablespoons dark brown sugar Directions In a pan, sauté garlic, ginger, shallots, and dried chilies until fragrant.
