A vegan take on the classic burger, amazing and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 300 g tempeh

  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped

  • 1/4 cup carrots, grated

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon liquid soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • burger bun, tomato, salad, and optional sauce

Directions

  • Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Shape the burger patty according to the size of the burger bun. Cool for 30 min in the refrigerator.
  • Cook in a pan with a little oil until brown on both sides. (4-5 minutes on each side)
  • Serve with toasted bread, tomatoes, salad, and your favorite sauce!
