Ingredients 3 cups soy milk3 tsp gelatin or 3 tsp agar powder Sugar to taste2 pandan leavesGinger and brown sugar syrup1 cup water4 tbsp brown sugar or gula melaka1 small knob of ginger, peeled and thinly sliced Directions Mix 1 1/2 cup of soy milk with gelatine and leave to bloom. (If using agar powder, mix with heated soy milk)Heat the remaining 1 1/2 cup of soy milk with the screwpine leaves and sugar. Bring to a simmer and remove pandan leaves. Mix the warm soy milk with the gelatine mixture. Stir and heat slowly to ensure that the gelatine is well incorporated.Pour into a bowl, let cool, and put in the fridge till the mixture sets.Heat all ingredients for the brown sugar and ginger syrup till it thickens.Serve tau foo fah with as much syrup as you want 🙂 Recipe Video Share Print page
