Ingredients

  • Filing
  • 150 g peanuts

  • 50 g gula melaka

  • Dough
  • 130 g glutinous rice flour

  • 45 g boiling water

  • 55 g room-temperature water

  • Syrup
  • 50 g gula melaka

  • 70 g honey rock sugar

  • 1 screwpine leaf

  • a few slices ginger

  • 1.5 litres water

Directions

  • Blitz filling ingredients till pasty. Make into small balls.
  • For the dough, mix in warm water and then room temperature water until a soft dough is form.
  • Flatten wrap balled up filling. Cook in boiling water till it floats.
  • Heat all the syrup ingredients, till its all gingery! Serve with tang yuan.
