Ingredients

  • Ingredients A
  • 300 g Butter

  • 70 g Caster sugar

  • 7 Eggs

  • 180 g Condensed milk

  • Ingredients B
  • 120 Low gluten flour

  • 1 Baking powder

  • Other
  • Haw flakes

Directions

  • For ingredients A, cream butter and sugar till fluffy. Add eggs one at a time while mixing till well combined. Add in the condensed milk and mix through.
  • Sift ingredients B together and add into Ingredient A mixture. Divide the batter into four equal portions.
  • Preheat the greased cake pan lined with steaming paper.
  • Pour in flour, add an appropriate amount of haw flakes, and steam over medium heat for 7 minutes.
  • Repeat the same steps up to the third layer.
  • Steam the last layer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Leave cool to serve.
