Ingredients

  • 1 cup soybeans, soaked and cooked until soft

  • 2 cups onion, chopped

  • Salt

  • Ghee

  • Ingredients A
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 2 cardamoms

  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste

  • Ingredients B
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder

  • 1 tablespoon garam masala

  • Ingredients C
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

  • A handful of coriander leaves

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 2 teaspoons chili powder

  • 2 green chilies, roughly chopped

  • Naan or rice to serve

Directions

  • Sauté Ingredients A in ghee until the smell rises. Add the onion and sauté until the onion is soft.
  • Add all ingredients B and soybeans. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add all ingredients C and let it simmer until the oil breaks.
