Garlic lovers rejoice! This recipe is the one for you. Enjoy it with some soup or on its own!

Ingredients

  • ingredients A
  • 2 teaspoons yeast

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 3/4 cup milk of choice

  • ingredients B
  • 290 g bread flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 45 g butter of choice

  • 1 egg

  • core
  • 75 g butter of choice, room temperature

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Directions

  • Mix ingredient A and leave for 5 minutes.
  • Mash all ingredients B with butter. Mix together the yeast and egg mixture until you get a soft dough. Knead 5 – 8 minutes. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 45 minutes.
  • For the filling, coat the garlic with olive oil and salt. Bake the garlic in a preheated oven at 180 C for 30-35 min. Take the filling and mix it with all the other core ingredients.
  • Roll out the dough, spread the filling mixture, sprinkle with cheese and roll back.
  • Put in a baking dish, apply a little egg wash, and bake at a preheated temperature of 190C for 25-30 mins or until fully cooked.
