Ingredients

  • Ingredient A
  • 1/4 cup butter of choice

  • 1/4 cup caster sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • Ingredients B (sifted)
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour

  • 1/2 tbsp cornflour

  • 1 tbsp rice flour

  • 1 tsbp cocoa powder

  • Ingredient C
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp vinegar

  • Other
  • 1 tsp red colouring

  • 1/4 cup almond flakes, toasted

Directions

  • Cream all ingredients A till sugar is dissolved. Add in food colouring.
  • Add in ingredients B and mix till combined.
  • Add in Ingredients C and mix well.
  • Fold in almond flakes.
  • Measure out ½ tbsp of the mixture to form balls and bake in a preheated oven at 160C for 12 mins.
