Ingredients
Pandan emulco
300gfermented dough
100gramssugar
1/8teaspoonlye water
19gwater
4gvegetable oil
112gramsflour
1teaspoons(5 grams) baking powder
1tablespoons(9 grams) cornstarch
Directions
Mix sugar, fermented dough, and lye water. Use your hands to knead until sugar is completely dissolved.
Add other ingredients. Knead together until it becomes a soft, smooth dough.
Divide dough into two. Mix one dough with pandan emulco.
Roll out both doughs to 1 cm thickness. Cut into small circles using a cookie cutter. Place the 6 circles on top of one another alternating the colour of the doughs. Press in the centre with a chopstick.
Place in a steamer rack and leave to rise for 30 mins. Steam at high heat for 15 mins . Off fire and leave for another 5 mins.
