Mung Bean Masala 0 from 0 votes Course: MainCuisine: AsianDifficulty: Easy Servings2servingsPrep time15minutesCooking time20minutes Ingredients Ingredients A4 tablespoon canola oil or other neutral-flavoured oil1 tablespoon whole cumin seeds8 cloves garlic crushedIngredients B300 g tomatoes, chopped2 tablespoon freshly grated ginger2 tablespoon ground coriander1 teaspoon turmeric1 teaspoon sea salt1 tsp cili powder2 bird’s eye chillies4 cups water1 cup mung beans picked over for stones and well rinsedIngredients C14 oz can coconut milk1-2 medium limes juiced1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped Directions Sauté ingredients A till fragrant.Add in ingredients B and cook covered on medium pressure for 30 mins or till beans are tender.Add in ingredients C and heat through.
