Just make that choice 🙂 Kurma Paste Loaf 0 from 0 votes Course: PastryCuisine: AsianDifficulty: Easy Servings8servingsPrep time20minutesCooking time30minutesResting Time 160+45minutes Ingredients Ingredients A1/2 cup (113g) milk of choice1 tablespoon (9g) dried yeast1/4 cup (50g) caster sugarIngredients B4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter of choice, softened1 teaspoon (6g) salt2 1/2 cups (300g) bread flourOther1 large sustainably farmed egg (optional) Date Jam/ Paste Egg Wash or milk to brush Directions Mix all ingredients A and leave to stand for 5 minutes.Rub in all ingredients B together till you get fine crumbs.Mix ingredients A, B and egg (if using) till you get a soft dough. Knead for 10 mins. Cover with a damp cloth and leave to rise for 1 hour.Divide dough into four. Roll out into rectangular sheets of 1 inch thick. Fill with date paste and roll as per video.Place into a round cake pan, cover with a damp cloth and leave to rise for another 45 mins.Brush with eggwash or milk and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30 minutes or cooked through.
