Savoury and sweet with a mild spicy kick.

Ingredients

  • 450 g Extra Firm Tofu, fried

  • For the Kung Pao Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Honey

  • 1 tsp Cornstarch

  • For the Veggies
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

  • 5 Dried Red Chilies

  • 1 tsp Crushed Garlic

  • 1 tsp Minced Ginger

  • 1 Red Pepper

  • cup Spring Onions Chopped

  • ¼ cup Roasted Salted Peanuts (37g)

Directions

  • In a pan, heat a little cooking oil with sesame oil. Sauté dry chilies, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  • Add all sauce ingredients, tofu, chili, and spring onion. Gently mix.
  • Sprinkle peanuts and ready to serve.
