Green Coriander Rice 0 from 0 votes Course: MainCuisine: AsianDifficulty: Easy Servings4servingsPrep time30minutesCooking time30minutes Ingredients Green Coriander Rice1 cup basmati rice, washed2 tablespoons oil1 pinch turmeric powder1 medium sized potato – peeled and chopped1/3 cup green peas – fresh or frozen1.5 cups water Salt, to tasteDry Spices1 bay leaf2-3 cloves1/2 inch cinnamon2 green cardamoms1 onion, thinly slicedSpice Paste1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves2 green bird’s eye chillies1/2 inch ginger2 tablespoon coconut milk3 garlic1/2 tsp cumin seeds1/2 tsp fennel seeds Directions Grind all spice paste ingredients till smooth. Add a little water if needed.In a wok sauter dry spices in a little oil till fragrant. Add in spice paste and sauter further till fragrant.Transfer into a rice cooker and add all other ingredients.
