Green Bean Mochi 0 from 0 votes Course: DessertCuisine: AsianDifficulty: Easy Servings4servingsPrep time15minutesCooking time15minutes Ingredients Green Bean Paste200 g dried green beans2 cups water Mandarin peels1/2 cup vegetable oil90 g sugarMochi Coating1/4 cup glutinous rice flour, toastedMochi Dough1 1/2 cups glutinous rice flour1/4 cup cornstarch1/4 cup caster sugar1 cup water1/2 cup coconut milk2 tablespoons coconut oil1 tsp salt Directions Green Bean PastePlace green beans, mandarin peel and water in a pressure cooker. Cook for about 30 mins or till beans are tender. Drain and blitz in a food processor with oil and sugar. Cook in a non-stick pan till dry. Leave to cool completely. Form small balls of 20g.Mochi DoughMix all dough ingredients and pour into a heatproof tray.Steam for 15 mins and leave to cool completely.Cut dough into squares.
