Ingredients

  • Ingredients A
  • 2 tsp yeast

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 3/4 cup milk of choice

  • Ingredient B
  • 420 g bread flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 45 g butter of choice

  • Filling
  • 75 g butter of choice (room temp)

  • 1/2 cup coriander, chopped

  • 1 head garlic

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp sugar

Directions

  • Mix ingredients A together and leave to sit for 5 minutes.
  • Mix all of ingredients B together in a large bowl till a coarse sand texture is obtained. Add in ingredients A and mix till a soft dough is formed. Leave to rest for 45 minutes covered with a damp cloth.
  • For the filling mix all filling ingredients together.
  • Punch the bread dough which has risen and roll out the dough into a rectangular shape with 1 inch thickness. Spread filling and roll dough. Place in a baking tin and leave to rise for another 30-35 mins. Then bake at 190C for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
