Ingredients
Ingredients A
A bunch of spinach, blanched and blended to get 80g of spinach paste + 3 tbsp sugar
150gbread flour
1.5gyeast
Ingredients B
150gbread flour
1.5gyeast
80gwarm water + 3 tbsp sugar
Ingredients C
50gbread flour
1.5gyeast
26gcarrot paste (warm)
Directions
Separately mix Ingredients A, B and C till you get 3 soft doughs. Leave to rise for 40 mins.
Punch down and reserve ⅓ of dough B. Roll out and cut using a flower cookie cutter.
Punch down and roll out dough A into a rectangular shape.
Roll out remaining dough B. Brush some water on dough B and place dough A on top of it. Place cut out flower shapes onto ⅓ of the dough. Take dough C and make into little balls and place on top of the flowers. Flatten flowers using the rolling pin.
Flip the dough and roll towards the flower portion of the dough.
Slice into 11/2 inch thick slices and place into a steamer. Leave to rise for 10 mins. Bring water to boil and steam for another 15 mins.
