Ingredients

  • Tempeh, diced, mixed with kerutuk powder and fried crisp

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 inch ginger, sliced

  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced

  • 2 stalks of curry leaves

  • 5 dates, seeded and cut into small pieces

  • 1 tablespoon curry powder, dissolved in water

  • 1 tablespoon crackers

  • Brown sugar

  • water

  • enough salt

  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Directions

  • Heat the oil and fry the onion, ginger and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add curry leaves and dates and saute again.
  • Add curry powder and crackle. Season with brown sugar and add water.
  • Add the fried tempeh. Mix well and season with salt to taste.
  • Sprinkle coriander leaves before serving.
