Ingredients

  • 1 box silken tofu

  • 2-3 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 2 dried chillies

  • A handful of fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced

  • .5 carrot, cut into small cubes

  • Seasonings
  • 1 tbsp spicy black bean sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 tsp vegetable powder

  • 3 tbsp water

Directions

  • Sauté garlic and dried chillies till fragrant in some oil
  • Add in shitake mushrooms and carrots and seasoning. Leave to simmer till carrots are soft.
  • Steam silken tofu for 5 mins and pour prepared mushroom and carrots over.
  • Sprinkle with spring onions.
