Ingredients
1banana blossom, cleaned and sliced
1/2cupanchovies (ikan bilis), toasted
2.5red onion, sliced thinly
2-3long beans, sliced thinly
1lemongrass, sliced thinly
A handful of coriander leaves, chopped
shredded fresh coconut
Salt, Sugar and lime juice, to taste
Spice paste
3shallots
1clovegarlic
1inch ginger
2-3bird’s eye chillies
2tbspanchovies, toasted
Directions
In boiling water, blanch banana blossoms till tender.
Drain and set aside.
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and toss with spice paste which has been blended smooth.
